When Mom's away, the cats will play!!

LOL... I had three days in a row that I worked the 6:45p-3:15a shift; the last 2 days of those 3, I also attended a conference on human trafficking from 8-5p. When I drove up to my apartment on the third night, I found somone parked in MY parking space so I reported it to the security officer walking around the site and then found myself having to park up by the pool area and walk back down to my apartment. At any rate, it was nearly 4am by the whole car in my carport issue had been dealt with that I went in, dropped nearly everything near the front doorway/hallway and headed straight to bed.

The next day (when I did wake up) I mosied my way through the clutter that occurred while I was gone. It looked like they had a party and thensome while I was briefly in and out during the three days at the beginning of this week. No, I am not going to take a picture and show you the mess, but suffice it to say that about a week's worth of my organized unpack and sort mode had been completely disrupted as there were no more neat little stacks of anything, a plant had been turned over completely by the patio door, the curtain in my office had been pulled down, the blinds in my bedroom were bent from them tryting to look out the topside of my blinds, a (albeit not-so-expensive)candlestick holder was broken, my shoes were now in the kitchen (I shouldn't ask how they got in there), the handtowels in the bluebonnet bath were pulled down.

I am now wondering if Gibson and Cash should be renamed "Thing 1" and "Thing 2" as I looked around to see if Cat-in-the-Hat might be lurking around as the orchestrator of this fine event!! No, no Cat-in-the-Hat lurking around. Gibson and Cash might have to be renamed as "Thing 1" and "Thing 2" still though since it looks like the living, dining, and kitchen areas (especially) had been turned upside down and shaken visciously to the point of small hurricanes/tornadoes speeding through my home.

Perhaps, it was really the Tazmanian Devil himself??? I doubt it; however, Gibson and Cash were looking at me ever so guilty. They knew that they had disappointed me to the max. I didn't talk to them too much as I tried to re-assemble my rooms to some degree of organization once again.

As I am leaving my apartment today, a note falls from the doorjam indicating that they are going to inspect the apartments next week for assets and to make sure that the pets are tended to! lol..... Hmmm... just how should I tend to "Thing 1" and "Thing 2" to make sure that they don't have everything turned upside down again????
